A Milkweed Butterfly, specifically a Monarch. By happy luck this little fella happened upon my 30 minute test of a Canon EF70-200mm F/4L IS USM Lens. Having F/4 at 200mm is a blessing and the sharpness is a dream. Possibly the sharpest freakin lens I’ve ever shot on.

Some of the delicious food we ate over the Easter weekend. There’s no chocolate pictured here, but that doesn’t mean it didn’t happen.

Perfect avocados made great Guacamole.

Actually, the weather has been great in New Plymouth, apart from this little patch. Today we made a descent down a steep bank to see some seals right before the rain started to come down. We hiked back up quickly to make sure we didn’t get stranded. Seals tk…
