Hi, my name is Jason. This blog is as much a public display as a place to organize the things that have flown throw my mind a little too quickly. Many of the posts here will be photo but I’ll also post longer photo essays as well as tidbits about films, filmaking and art. Hopefully what you’ll come to find here are some of my prettier pictures and a little bit of knowledge shared.

I’m nearly always in Wellington, New Zealand. I’ve been here for six years and though some of the features can become dulled or forgotten there’s always something about the city that I will enjoy. A creative and independent presence that manages to keep beating despite the rising tide of ubiquity. I feel lucky to be in this particular place – I’ve managed to immerse myself in the film industry. If not entirely better, it’s at least easier to be doing this in Wellington than it would be in LA.
